I've ants usually, I welcome them, for factors I will not likely go into that on this site but suffice to mention, These are extra welcome than pests for me. But in the issue of cat food, I agree they appreciate cat food but what I do and most of the people I understand now do, I just take a little paper plate, set it apart in a very out of the way
